The history

of Anjuman-i-Islamia, late to the beginning of 20th century. About twelve decades (120years) ago, a few God-fearing persons belonging to different religions schools of thought realized the need of a platform which could serve as an asylum for the orphans of the city. They united the three societies into one called Anjuman- i-Islamia and resolved to embark upon the mission of humanitarianism.

In 1973-74 all educational institutions were nationalized by the Government. Thus the vacuum was created in the Anjumman history of education which was later on filled by raising a school building of Islamic Educational foundation in 2003. A new and unique building of Dar-ul- Shafqat (Orphanage) was also built adjacent to the school in 2013. Previously the orphans were living in a 100- years old building of Dar-ul-Shafqat at Maharaja Road, Sialkot and by the grace of Allah orphans were shifted to new buildings.
In order to facilitate all sections and classes of people and to provide the best possible education in minimum fees a harmonious atmosphere is created with the cooperation of parents.
A new playground has been furnished for the outdoor games, hockey, football, cricket etc. for the orphans and school children where they play , frolic and enjoy in their free time.
In near future another class-room block for high school boys is going to be built with the help of local and overseas donors. May Allah accept the efforts of members of Anjuman-i- Islamia to achieve their mission.
